f**kin PC, i thinkit was actually my server machine... i logged off and back on to my server and my ping seemed to fix itself?!?! Didnt restart it tho so still well on me way to 5 weeks uptime

Wel I got 16 weeks and 1 day! Then there was a feckin Powercut for 3 ours... oh well, I needed to update windows neway... :-(

i just leave me pc on? :P

actually i had log off and on again 3 times which cleared out the memory (did that about every 4 weeks) but i was quite amazed meself tbh being as its a windoze machine and all...

im building my new linux box at the start of january - then Ill have a total of 4 pcs :D (hopefully - power problems not withstanding - ill be able to waste that 16 week score no problems. :D

I dobt ill be attempting 16 weeks again on me windows machine cos its justr gonna become a fdile server soon, so i wont be that fussed about keepin it up all the time, and i need to do windoze security updates etc. when i restarted after the 16 weeks i had a good 16mb or windows DLs waitin for me on the microsoft site lol!

i get week long uptimes n prob... thing is it's my main comp and i have other ppl (like my bro) who think 'can't leave it on' so turn it of when they've finished. and my house hasn't got the most stable of power supplies and keeps tripping :(

ah well, gd luck demon and hope u beat 16 weeks 1 day - y not try/make a target for 26 weeks? :D
