Finished work at 12pm, got home to my parents in hour and a half (minimal traffic, always a pleasantry).
Pub tonight. Poker tomorrow. Pub on Sunday. Etc.
I need this hols more than ever in my life i think and for the first time in 6 years i dont have exams in Jan to worry about, so its drink drink and eat eat for me till new years day. Have a good un everyone.

lindsay and I have an enjoyable drive from Surrey to Edinburgh tomorrow - im sure the traffic will be quiet - NOT!!!

Saying that about the traffic, yesterday was supposedly the busy day on the roads of the whole hols, and on the M1 today in the midlands it was decidedly quiet, so you might be ok.

Thankfully I drove on the Friday and it was a nice drive, quite quiet.
But I'm thinking of heading back to Edinburgh late at night, so I'm not driving into that nasty low lying sun and no traffic.

Ouch , m621 was screwed when i went to Leeds pre-xmas week, some numpty had spun off n hit 2 cars a truck and a lamp post , caused huge tailbacks for most of the day , i missed it by a few hrs .

Was slow going north 4 odd hours due to people being slow.
But thankfully due to lots of fog people kept off the roads on the way back to it was much quicker :)
