1. My sis is buyin this laptop what do you think?
Its really for basic stuff, i.e. word processor, excel and surfin the webb
Have you got any better suggestion around £300 price tag?

2. I've got xilisoft 3gp video converter 2.1.55 build - 1025b. Can any1 find me registration code for it please.

i would look to buy some extra ram for it asap - another 256mb would be fine.

I would probably go for one with a bit faster CPU, even it's just for basic stuff

yeah, ram is important tho...and I'm sure she would want to watch dvd's or divx on it...i'd check out a dell.

Right. I was also checking out dell and came across this, looks good.

what is better 512 DDR Ram or 256 DDR2 Ram?

The £320 one, also memory is upgradable to 1GB. How much is memory and is it eay to fit it?


No prob dud. I'm not in that much of a hurry to get them.
