Hey ho

I'm a very big CNC fan (have owned every game) and i love the new CNC3 series (despite many critisising it) so I'm thrilled the new expansion pack Kanes Wrath is coming out at the end of the week. Me and Moses (remember him?) are even having a lil LAN party between the 2 of us to play the new global conquest mode and the lan games next weekend.

Yes i may be goint a little OTT for an expansion pack but im just wondering if anyone else is looking forward to trying it?

Stuart

CnC is good.

CnC3 was okay. It dissapointed with some issues. I did however enjoy teh GDI campaign when the aliens attack. The whole bit where youve got a ton of NPC GDI forces engaging a ton of NPC Alien forces made it seem to be more real.

The new expansion pack focuses on the Nod story line from the end of Tiberium Sun (got your interest yet womble?) to CNC3 Tiberium wars and the aftermath i beleive. It also brings in a load of new units and some subfactions so in skimishes/multiplayer you can be a more high tech GDI or more old skool GDI (TITANS AND WOLVERINES ARE BACK!) samew with NOD and Skrin. Theres also a new multiplayer mode which is a cross between Risk or like the Total war series, you develop bases and deploy forces on a global scale like risk and then fight the battles to decide the victors in typical skirmish mode.

I've got it for £15 from Amazon but EA do it online for £20 as a download on release day. If you pre-order you get the chance to sign up for the Red Alert 3 beta which is released later in the year! Thats defo on the EA orders but it may be a general thing for all early versions of the game braught from retailers as well.
