Planetside is now free to play untill March 21st 2007, you join the army reserves which is exactly the same exept you cannot pass Battle Rank 6 (meaning only 1 implant out of 3, and only 9 skill points to use instead of 27 odd)

This doesnt really limit you too much though, as you can make 8 chars and each do diff professions..skills are used on better weaps, medic, hacking, engineer and driving vehicles.

Of course, im still downloading (huge updates..) but its almost done. You can form squads and platoons, we could even make a SFH clan if enough people got into it, taking bases together and using vent to have a distinct advantage.

256 mb + ram

Pentium 3 or above

1 GHZ hard drive

Geforce 2 or better gfx card

and a few other things..thats just the min specs.

Supposedly the game has a memory leak so you might need more than 256 im hoping my page file will make up for it though.

It works great, i got no lag in training nor when i dropped down.

Problem was, when i warped to a new area the game crashed in loading..then i restarted, area worked fine. Unfortunatly id missed the huge battle, so i took my anger out on a enemy truck left there, took it for a joyride ! :D

Rode around for a good 20 mins , then tried to warp again. Crashed lol..

I think i cant warp :P but i havnt tried instant action yet.

Havnt played in abit though, im BR 5 at the moment. My cpu kinda spazzed out when i decided to jump out of a air vehicle into a huge battle.

Havnt logged on since lol.
