I am SOOOO gutted.
I signed up for it, submitted a pic of my ugly grinning mug,  ready to go online this morning to look for my name in the queue - and then all hell broke loose in the the office of 140 people where no-one could log on after 08:30 due to a dodgy group policy added by a work collegue.
Instead of getting me tickets, i eventually finished fixing the problems and missing my chance.
Genuinely happy for you that you got your ticket though dude  . Say hi to Zack from me!  Enjoy the show - they will be awesome.
Gonna catch them at Download instead this year - its just been announced they are headlining! 
Gonna get a group of like-minded rockers together for it this year - interested?
It aint gonna beat Slipknot for me last year - they completely blew me away, but saw AC/DC at the O2 last year too, and that was one of the best gigs i've been to - just as well they are joining RATM!

Damn mate, that's a bloody nightmare!
I didn't think it was looking good when I was trying to book. Predictably the site was unretrievable for a good 30-40 mins then suddenly I was able to get in. Whacked in my registration and the missus'. The website said confirmed but I didn't believe it till the email came later.
Quite excited. Hope they get some good support (could there be any truth in the Beastie Boys rumours?!).
Download looks awesome - I'm a pretty big ACDC fan and have never had the pleasure yet. Perhaps I'll look into it - not sold out yet I presume?
I'll be sure to let you know what it's like ...
Christ... just noticed Aerosmith playing too? That line-up is riiiiiidiculous!

AC/DC rulez one of my fav bands and brilliant live + Brian Johnson can drive a car , he nearly beat JK on the Top Gear track . Hope you enjoy Greg all sounds awesome .
My claim to fame and talk about being gutted , due to a birthday i missed the final show by a WEEK to get tickets to see non other than "Pink Floyd" and thier "The Wall" concert years ago
Instead i had to settle for Genisis "Abacab" which as it happens turned out to be awesome .

Nope - DL not sold out yet although I don't expect them to for a short while yet.
Seriously would be cool for you to join me there - AC/DC will completely rock the f***ing place.
O2 was amazing - Brian and Angus running about on stage for a 2 hour set and hardly breaking a sweat (even whilst Angus is pulling off a 10 minute finger-solo right at the end!!)
I got Kerrang the week after the gig and it got 5 K's (deservedly so). Those guys are STILL showing some of the newer rock bands out there how its done.
If you are interested (or anyone else reading this for that matter), do let me know and i'll start organising something now.
@Wom, Aye about Brian - the guy proved he has unlimited talent on that Top Gear episode. Gonna take a week off work soon to go for a drive around the country, using the road he talks about between Newcastle and Carlisle - sounds like an awesome drive.

I've driven that route Harv I think. It is as stunning as he says. It's proper rural Northumberland/Cumbria with sheep on the roads etc, countryside as far as you can see and the drive is amazing. Non stop hills, descents, hairpin corners. Plus whether you go east or west you still end up somewhere awesome - either Newcastle or the Lakes
Feel free to give me a shout if you end up in Newcastle.

Aye - I was in Nottingham for a while which is where you despatched the Athlon bits etc I bought off you. But Newcastle is now my permanent abode.
