well, monday, am starting in college xD had my induction days today and yesterday, am doin two courses, one double award AVCE in IT, and 1 As level in graphics design xD well, ne words of advice from ye old guys? :P (btw, my timetable is a fukin joke.)

college is the best days get to learn BUT lecturers treat u like adults, get "FREETIME" and free jonnies if u goto the right college . Enjoy it m8, i only did 2 years and came out wid 2 qualifications (somehow) and really enjoyed it

college = getting shafted for bunking off to watch bruce lee films on the only day in the whole term they had a bloody fire alarm evacuation test and hence the roll call and subsiquent captureage of womble and friends ......or does this just happen to me ??

well hopefully on the 22nd i'll have my 'introduction day' to my day release course of BTEC Computing.. the intro day is just an excuse to waste a day, u meant ur lecturers and get to know em etc but do faff all, not ment to. unfortuniate thing is cus its day release its from 9 till about 7

yup, and its a 10 hour day not including traveling (and its over half hour drive away) so i'll b looking at a 12 hour day most of which is spent sitting in class rooms again

nope - they pay me my wage (so i stay on the same per month) but i 'pay' the course, but cus im low income andits a higher ed course the uni have the power to grant me fee remission, which they have

as for learning something - they teach me what parts of the computer are, i can already build my own and in the 2nd year they finally get round to teaching us apache - my director at work is the guy who made the appache-ssl code! my company probs know more about apache than most ppl!
