Got clocked last week doing a bit over the limit. Got a nice "Notice of Intended Prosecution" today when I got in the door...

That blows! Up here they dont have a single speed camera in my county. It's nice. What will happen next? Fine? Points?

Puss, On the way to aberdeen, theres the oldmeldrum straight, mobile camera is there twice a week, and on the straight into Macduff from Turrif once a week
people get caught at 100+ all the time

Well just to cheer you up a few years ago I got done twice in 3 minutes from 2 mobile cameras. The first took the picture from behind and did not stop me, I then went through a set of lights and the other camera got me and stopped me but he did not mention that his mate was just round the corner. Anyways i got a letter from the first one a few days later and just ignored it thinking it was for the other one which i had already paid. It was only a month later when I got a court summons to appear for unpaid fines that I found out that I had been done twice. once at 11:45 the other 11:48  6 points £60 fine
I was done again a few months later but i got er indoors to take the points for that one

There's a lot of signs pretending to be speed cameras here in Bahrain, but actually I know that there's only one in the whole country. I just don't know where it is. Still, it's pretty rare to get a camel to go much faster than 35mph anyway.

Demon and I met in a smoky bar in Paris in 1996... our eyes met across the room and he came over and asked me out. Sadly for him I'm not gay, but we've remained friends ever since...
Actually we've known each other from yonder School days when we both had to walk five miles in barefeet without socks on to get to classes. It was our shared interest in playing Battleships during English, and later consuming vast quantities of alcohol, that made us friends.
I'm in Bahrain because three years ago I had just quit a rubbish job at Standard Life to go back to work for my dad, to pay my overdraft (sigh), when I got a call from my cousin's husband asking me to get out here for a 3 month trial, because he needed someone to start immediately. I'm a graphic designer, it's a small company, we all work well together, so I stayed. That's pretty much the short version. Plus the combination of a hot climate and tax-free lifestyle rather suits me. Democracy? We don't need no stinkin' Democracy!

I just passed my practical test last sturday
I am gona really have to try to avoid getting points for the first 2 years, if i get 6 points in my first 2 years they will ban me for a while and take my licesnse.
Ah well, i can't really speed my mum's 1 litre nisan micra

And Gouldy, I visit SFH about 8 - 10 times a day nowadays. Anytime I am bored really. Which is alot of the time.
I just bought a flat with my Dr. Girlfriend, which wommie and scotz will tell you is very nice. Now I am looking at buyin a new 32" LCD tv.
And killah, congrats! I am in that boat too. Just passed in June and trying to look out for police cars so I don't get caught speeding.

I remember passing my test and then being let loose on my mum's 1.3 Sokda Favorite estate! Which I later owned when my mum got her self a better car. We dubbed it the tank and I was amazed when I got that thing upto 90MPh :)
