ok i am in a little bit of a bind.... does anybody know of any good dvd rippers that will work on xp????

i am currently running clandvd.net and that works about 70% of the time, (mainly allowing me to create the vcd) but is not very good at ripping the original file set (vob, ifo files)

so if anybody could help thata be great!!!!!!

well after playing with the program i was runnning (claddvd .net) it works great for most dvds. Although if the file mode (i.e. as it is on teh dvd) cannot be ripped so everything works ok, it allows you to rip a vob file (with sound), but also rips the sound as a seperate wav file, from here you can run the small program of tgmpenc (downloaded from the claddvd web page http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/claddvd.cfm)

this alows you to edit the video (so it aint shakey) and reput it all back together as eith a vcd, svcd, or dvd.... it also allows you to chop it up so it fits onto cds without losing any of the movie
