Error 680 - No Dialtone.
Solution

   1. Check cable is correctly inserted into back of modem and phone socket.
   2. Check properties of connection, make sure correct modem is being used.
   3. Disable "wait for dialtone before dialing" in My Computer > Dial Up Networking > Properties of Connectoid > Configure > Connection > remove checkmark under call preferences.
   4. Too many devices on the line, try removing Fax Machines or anything else connected to the line.
   5. Make sure no one is using the Telephone when trying to connect.

ok.... but say that doesnt work.... then what u do...you do a whoosh test etc

same with the other codes.. i need to no what to do once u tried all the obvious stuff..

like error 721 is sommit like invalid password.. so u do u checks in network connections etc, if that dont work i would change password on there account usin one of my systems... but that still dont fix it... then what i do?

well i no u gotta recreate the account as its got stuck..

a woosh test only works if there is a modem in synch on the line with the dlsam, so no dialtone error codes wont be solved by a woosh test. Can you do a bt rat test?
