Considering buying a new monitor...
Firstly, Aria have these Digimate 19".

Is the only difference cosmetic basically? The second one has newer casing?
Then this at microdirect:

Anyone heard of these? Pretty cheap!
Finally Dell are doing 25% off monitors for 2 more days, so
http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/ProductDetail.aspx?c=uk&category_id=211&cs=ukdhs1&first=true&l=en&page=productlisting.aspx&sku=50799
that is a 19" for under £200. I get the impression Dell screens are quite well thought of. plus thats 8ms response, the others are 12ms.
Is 700:1 or 500:1 contrast ratio better? Dell and microdirect one are 500, the aria digimate are 700
Advice please chaps.
edit: I should really read the spec fully first, anyway, ignore the microdirect one, it doesnt appear to be DVI, which i will use when i eventually get new pc.
edit again: neither is the Dell . Am i right that i definitely should be getting one with DVI connection? Rather than just VSUB. So does this make the Digimate one even better value?
