Ok lads, in fine |SFH| tradition and as I just realised I now have 10pcs in the house I thought I would celebrate by whapping out my monster and jerking off some specs - when my order arrives from scan on Friday/Monday my gaming rig will consist of the following:

Athlon XP 3.0Ghz
1.5GB Corsair XMS DDR400 RAM
128MB Geforce 6800GT GFX
Dual Seagate 80GB 7200RPM SATA drives in RAID 0 array (Striped)
Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS sound card / drive bay / remote

Personally I'm rather pleased with it - you think it will run BF2 ok?

lol nice.... alan my flat mate pc has roughly higher specs, will get them and post them as his pc is sick ( f**kin rich kids )

as for my specs

sony vaio laptop:-intel pent 2 ghz,

                          2 gb ram,

                          17" lcd screen,

                          256 pci x600 ati  hyper memory gfx card

 

very happy as it only cost me £500

GEFORCE 2 MX440 64mb (wipe those tears)

It just means when i eventually have the money to upgrade (in about a year), i'll be high for months afterwards.

what raid u using dud?

i forgot to add - dual Seagate 80GB SATA drives in RAID 0 config (striped) - writes and reads like a MOFO!!!
