i quite fancy getting a wireless mouse as i get irritated by the wire catching things and generally annoying me. im pretty happy with the one ive got now though (some 5 button optical thing by chic which cost about a fiver). and a new one would have to be cheap. any recommendations? ideally it wants to be rechargeable in its own little docking bay job, changing batteries sounds like a faff to me. are they generally usb powered if its rechargeable or do they have a 240v adaptor?
and a wireless keyboard would be nice just so i can chuck my keyboard elsewhere when im trying to work as i use my desk for uni stuff as well as computers. again, the one i have now is fine (picked up for free from some office chuck out). again, any recommendations?
last thing, is there any problems with lag/interference/missed clicks etc when using wireless.
wow, i'm so good at talking sh*t...

I got a 3rd gen MS opitcal explorer mouse, and it was sh*te. so don't bother with that one.
logitech and a cool new one the 1000 something which is a laser mouse which has a dock for charging, and it ment to be very very very good for gaming.

AND everglide work very well with ir mice.
Use the mat, and the sensitivity looks like it gets doubled.

my everglide pad is going to get replaced with another everglide pad no questions asked. I got mine at i17, alex tried it and lurved it so much got himself one an hour later and we were both skeptical how much difference it would make befor hand, only problem is it warped badly within a week or so after i got home, contacted everglide and 2 days later another one was at my door with a set of ratz skatez for my mouse at no cost to me, only took 1 email to! great products and equally great customer service.

when it comes to mice mats the most important thing is never never never never never get a plastic mouse mat, if you don't get a ever glide get a nice felt mouse mat they feel alot better.

i have an intelli exploerer 3 and they were at one poitn the best mouse u can get and still are pritty good but they dont make then anymore..
there are the new gen explorer 3s but i dont knwo how good they are.
for gaming a good mouse will always be as good as its mouse mat. i have an ice mat its old now but still works well the only problem i had is its quite high so it takes some gettign used 2

I have an opical mouse with a felt mouse mat.
it works fine with me.
I just hate the feeling of the plastic mouse mat on my hand.

i seriously reccomend getting a decent mouse mat eg everglide one as they make a HUGE difference. Jag bought one at i17, i tried it out, dropped my sensitivity on CS by about 60% then went and bout one for myself!
