tau are good at the start against infantry... but after that they just seem to die

well it was just a mod :P

the official game will probably be better...hopefully it will balance out some things (the insanely powerfull avatars) for one.

avatars are meant to be insanely powerful, same as baneblades and greated daemons...

tau are AMAZINGLY shooty but crap in h2h...

yea but they arnt.

baneblade and such get asses kicked.

my baneblade was almost dead from 4 enemy tanks...

yet the damn eldar avatar took fire from 10 infantry squads, 5 tanks, baneblade and a crapload of turrets and didnt die !!

eldar are v powerful tbf. Esp once they get fire prisms which are just ridiculously powerful!

Not really, a squad of sentinals can take out fire prisms, same iwth lemon russ's

Now the whirlwind tank is way WAY overpowered.

1v1 cpu standard, it built one. just one.

7 infantry squads, fully equipped, 5 sentinals and 1 lemon russ wiped out by it while all attacking it. 3 basilks were attacking as well, even used the earthshaker rounds and the thing wouldnt die.

i killed it, but then they got another 2 and i was screwed.

you need to make sure you arnt attacking a unit thats in heavy cover. If a unit is in heavy cover, it can sometimes heal faster than you can damage it.

the 2 races onto the expansion are Definately the TAU and the NECRONS ! so both kinda shooty races but with the necrons having some decend H2h. the tau wil only do at range unless of course u can get Kroot and Kroot carnivores :D lets hope it arrives soon so SFH Can PWN on it :D lol

where did i get that info ?? well its all over the tinternet. the fellas at THQ have released official news on the expansion and it wil def include tau and necron. there wil b no new units for the other races though for some reason ! anyway mate.. goin skateboarding now..
