As a web developer, I am learning at an alarming rate. One of the most important thing I have learnt is that macs are infact, total peices of sh*t. I spent ages making a nice webpage look spiffy on a pc, and then when i come to test it on a mac, its totally f**ked. why? because it has a problem with the order some of the tags are in. so tell me, why can a pc handle this no problem and a mac sh*t itself? BECAUSE THEY ARE TOTAL sh*t!!!!

All the designers at my work dont like em, they're too slow and I quote "sh*t". They just cant handle flash...

anyway, back to work

I know how you feel Mojo, I used to worry bout that too. Making sites compatable for Macs is sh*t. But then its really Netscape thats the problem - all Mac users should just dl IE for Mac tbh.

I just took to telling clients that f**k all ppl used netscape and others -its like 4% of users or summit.

Useful rescources for statistics at http://www.w3schools.com/

PS: you should change the poll to "They're OK.. but i wouldnt have one"

Pretty rich comming from a guy who cant even install his games properly! (yeah you know what im talking about)

Oh and by the way, I do use Mozilla to test and make sure my code is standards compliant, and guess what, it is! But the funny thing is, it was IE on a mac that had the problems....hence.....sh*t!

ah in that case fair do's, but i'd have thaught that was more of a case point for MS being sh*te as its their browser thats being the biach.

OK...
I am just a little tipsy and up for a full blown arguement as usual...

Will you please give up the 'I hate Bill Gates' routine. It is getting VERY boring!!!!
Microsoft have produced a browser that works JUST FINE (hence the reason why 94% of users use IE - http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp
And yes, yes, yes... i KNOW what you are going to say...
'But Microsoft have dominated and saturated the market in such a way that means that no other browser can compete with the marketing that IE gets'
True, true... but wrong.
If a company brought out a browser that was compatible and worked as well (if not better than the browser of choice at the moment on the market), then i believe people would choose to use that browser instead, given that it can do a better job. But as it is at the moment - 97% of the population of the planet (thats roughly 6 billion people btw) use a product that works. Get with the times, stop f**king moaning and join all of us that don't have a problem.
MACs sucks arse. I have supported them before and had nothing but f**king nightmares with them when it came to IE. Apple Code IE differently on MACs to how Microsoft code IE for installation on PC's. In which case your arguement is with Apple that makes MACs, not Microsoft that makes IE.
If you choose to install it (or any other browser other than IE for that matter) then fine... I am gonna have no quarms with ya whatsoever - its your personal choice what you choose to install you your own computer. Just dont blame Microsoft when your application doesn't work - i am fed up of it.

Please... be a LITTLE more open minded before you sl*g off an application that works, and defend an OS that doesn't.

i dont use mac, i was just under the impression that Internet Explorer for both PC and Mac was made my microsoft cus the name is an MS trademark i thaught. from what you said it appears im wrong so my bad.

Also if 1 app doesnt work its wrong to blame the entire OS, otherwise windows would get blamed all the time, wait it does, my bad. We've had this topic of descution over which is the best with edd loads of times. Mojo has every right to say mac is sh*te as edd has to say windows is sh*te. everyone can have their own view. I personally think mac, unix, Linux etc are all god operating systems, providing you only want to use them for a specific role, like a server or a media editing box. for an all round multipurpose OS i still think windows is the best though. again thats my view obviously yours will differ.

The other thing is my original comment was a joke thus the wink at the end, ppl must have missed that every one is entitled to their own opinions. Mac's may well be sh*tty at some stuff (which i dont deny) but they are still good at other stuff (like media editing) - just depends what your trying to do with it.
