Can someone assist me please.

I've been given the opportunity to buy an almost new BB Curve 8900 for £65 - a deal as far as I can tell and I could do with a new handset.

My current contract is an O2 simplicity contract which gives me minutes, texts and unlimited data. I keep reading about needing blackberry services - can anyone explain what i need and what it might cost to change?

Can I not just do what I want to do (browse internet and pick up emails) using the contract I already have?

Any help much appreciated.

ta

not on O2 and never used a blackberry... sorry

I think the diff with blackberry is its a push technilogy (ie your phone doesnt dial home every few minutes to check your mail).

Right sorry havnt checked forums recently, u need the Blackbery Bolt On, check the contract if thats there then go ahead, but it usually as it says is a Bolt On which costs like an extra 7.50 a month or so, which allows you to access the net etc, which im assuming you want.
