ok, I just heard a rumour that certain studios of some rather large developers (can't say who until it's public...NDA) are stopping all ps3 development as the ps3 is just not selling enough in the US...this means don't buy a ps3 on launch as sony WILL have to do something quite dramatic to get back into the game.
I think ps3 will probably still become the winner in this console war, but they are really going to have to start fighting for it. My prediction is that they will cut the ps3's price to something closer to the 360 premium, and pay some developers some serious cash to make some very good games then the ps3 would probably come back.
Also this Gametrak tech basically means that wii style controll systems may appear on the ps3 and 360...which seems dissapointing to me  ... but good news for developers I guess

Not selling enough in the US, do they even have enough consols? They have run out havent they, since they could not produce enough Blue Ray players? We all will know after the summer who is selling most, xbox will ofcourse have a leap ahead since they have been out a while, but I think Nintendo Wii will definetly sell ALOT more than gamecube did, as long as they get some good games

Griz at the moment you can walk into shops in Japan and the US and buy a PS3 with ease, where its almost impossable to buy a Wii.
Worldwide the Wii has alerady sold 4million units where the PS3 has barely hit 1m.
and Mojo the gameTrak thing has been around for awhile, the only devs that will make games for it are the devs that will give it away with the game. It's not a standard bit of kit for the other 2 consoles so no dev will want to put up the monney to make a game for a device that is in a very small number of houses.

I would buy one if a cool game came out with the 360 (iinfact, I am getting a wii for one :)...and I'm 100% sure M$ would give them away for next to nothing with a game...they have a near unlimited account - they would make their return in loads of other developers making games once people start buying them. Hell, I'm sure developers for nintendo would port their games to it too. I know my company would :) simply more money for not so much extra work.
still, i think hopefully Nintendo have already got the market this gen
