Just fitted my spangley new car stereo this afternoon...

Niiiiiiice....
Only thing is its a DAB radio with an in car arial which you stick to the inside of the windscreen. Has anyone done this before? I havent fitted the arial yet as I wanna get more info on it...

lol dman its like this tiny we aerial wif a sticky bit on bottom and u peel off the protective cover and press it on ur dash dont think it has to go on ur windscreen.... well my dads on is like that, also hope u have to speakers to make most of it..... and the car...the car always important

Nice stereo how much did you get it for? Yeas speakers are important, but sometimes the standard car speaker are good enough (depends on the car as well, good cars come with good speakers).
BTW, havent played or even posted on the forums for a loong time. I still havent got my comp fixed yet, and secondly i got my exams in january  and i really need to revise for em.

ive got a Corolla 1.3
My speakers are acyutally v good and ive noticed a massive difference in the quality of sound just by changing the stereo. Only thing is I have no speakers in the back, just blanks where the speakers would be so my next job is to fit some.

lol - i think ill stick to a set of speakers in the back and leave it at that...

Why? You have to have 2 18" speakers in the back and two 6x9 set in front =D (Here we buy a used car which is cheap, buy a stereo which is 3 times more expensive)
Then you play trance and rule the streets!
