Like, just here in Norway on the news the police had started this operation on child porn, ok, many was caught, BUT many was innocent and had their lifes ruined.. ok, im using kazaa to download stuff, I would never download child porn, but if people use ur ip and the police tracks it, they can come to ur house and arrest u and you lose ur reputation badly.. and u can be "tricked" to download, cuz I heard they have put out some fake stuff to bust you on example : Kazaa.. so is it really safe to download anything at all ? movies,software, music, other??? im almost not daring anything...

And the stuff that have happend in the USA, where they have caught people who download music.. I know they cant do it here right now, but they might if they are allowed..

The (non)official rule in England (not sure about Norway) is that the authorities are turning a blind eye to people downloading anything (except child porn of course), but instead are concentrating thier efforts on those that choose the share thier media for upload.
This has a much better effect for stopping sharing, and it is also easier to trace someone sharing than it is someone downloading at a particular time.

Shouldn't use Kazza any way, get your self a good DL software like Bittorrent and downloade over 54Gig a month :p

dc rox and youre unlikely to have your dls monitored on it. bittorrent is the daddy too but people are being monitored on it and one of the guys in my office got a warning from BT cos he was monitored by MGM or someone dling a few of their films via Bit Torrent.

Its getting more and more dodgy to DL popular stuff these days. Id avoid kazaa alltogether tbf cos its a load of poo anyway and you will be contastantly monitored. Stick to getting obscure stuff that the big companies wont be monitoring... thats my advice...
