If anyone is around today can they give their thoughts on this Acer laptop, seems very good value.

Hmm, Ati GFX card, but The comet website is not really showing the whole stuff.

it's a dual core system, 1Gig of Ram and a 100Gig HD.
Ati x1100 and will take upto 128mb of ram for graphics.


So it looks nice for £480.

Yeah nice because its ATI graphics, whereas virtually all the others of similar price are the Intel 950 gfx which Grizz said was so rubbish

Yeah, looks ok, It's not an acer travelmate either (I have 2 of those and they are pretty crap)
But yeah, ati x1100 seems good, probably like a good x600 series or something on stationary.

And since it's a dual core you will notice a whole lot of difference, my laptop beat several of the people here who have like a 3+ ghz cpu :)
