Oki, I have a problem..

Whenever I turn down volume in any media player (except VLC) It turns down my "digitalsound" in soundoptions making all the other programs have less sound too..

Any way I can fix this?

simple. just dont turn ya volume down and soon enuf ur gonna be deaf and we'll buy u some hearing aids for xmas

Use winamp for music and MPC for video, they both have separate sound controls.

?? odd winamp on my machines are not linked to the main volume. Which version of winamp are you running?

It works fine at work and back home, I used the newest winamp, but its not just winamp its all the media players, so there must be some settings somewhere

My bro has a similar problem i think...also, when he starts playback. I'd say...reinstall windows

Fixed it myself, I went to the output settings on winamp and direct sound, it was set to Windows default I changed it to my sound card

That was on my old computer, not this one :P

But I assume there is a similar option in other players aswell? Ie Windows Media (if I use it) , real player , quicktime etc?
