Just discovered I should be able to get up to 6.5mb-ish on ADSL max in my area - who should I go with?
I want no port blocking, traffic shaping etc and unlimited BW with no "acceptable use" policies?

not many these days, telewest still operate uncapped, but when i was looking most have a cap limit or fair usage whatever they want to call it,

Pipex's AUP Terms and Agreement
It says on one hand its all about traffic shaping and sh*t. On the other its about leagal use of the net connection.

one of my mates is being upgraded to it in the next couple of weeks i think... its all been ordered hes just waiting for it to be completed now...

Aye I'm on pipex. I think I hammered the BW one time downloading over 50 gigs in a month (steam, game demos and other sh*t). They didn't bother me at all. I think Pipex got rated second best ISP in the UK.

they say their acceptable use policy is only during peak hours so I will simply limit my BW for those apps during those hours (6-12) - I can MORE than make up for it during the other 18 hours a day with an 8mb line...
