OK, after an update last night my windows has now been complaining that its not a genuine copy...should I be worried about this or is article true that its just to embarrass people read article here

What should be done about this?

(also D, I think I turned off my pc before I got that file you were sending me. Is there any chance you uploaded it to my webspace??)

C:\WINDOWS\system32\WgaTray.exe

my dad has the same porblem, its because when you try to do windowsupdate you need to go through a "check".. its no harm in it, it gives you link to where you can buy a legal copy for it.. there is an easy way to "avoid" the check, just google a javascript your supposed to use and paste it in to your url bar before you do the check and its fine

you get the "popup" if you have dont have auto login on your computer, and as womble said its appears in the bottom right corner
