Hi,
I am clan leader of Tribal Gaming we play cod4 promod.
we have roughly 20 members that are very active, we play pcws every day and are med plus skill, we have beaten high skilled teams every so often and hope to become a high skilled squad.
we want to merge with you as you are more organised than we are.
We would want to play in cb ladders.
I have just under a 3 month server contract left on our match server and vent server we would use.

we already have a dedi box and vent server , but i dont think our cod4 team are active so wouldnt be of any use too you atm.

Thats what he is saying Womble, his contract is running out in his Server and Vent so they want to use ours.
As for the COD team, if you have 20 active members thats fine enough by me.

I dont like large numbers of random people we dont know having access to our forums . If we wanted a Cod4 section we'd advertise . I'd like a meeting before anythings agreed .

np guys, I get the general feeling that you are not really up for our squad, it is also nothing to do with the server, I have been paying for our server for the past two years myself so I aint looking for freebies.

Just a piece of advice for future reference before you go to another clan asking the same thing...
This topic of conversation is NOT for general public viewing on clan forums and should be strictly kept to a private conversation between clan admin members before making any decision making public too soon. This includes Womble above who I’m sure would have been more conducive to that approach than the one you took.
My company has recently acquired another company and very successfully too because of a very subtle merger that was conducted with as little disruption as possible to employees on both sides by employing the ‘need to know basis’. You could apply this in your situation too when asking other clans given that decisions as large as this (that affects so many people on a grand scale) will instantly be met with a ‘no’ when the risk is so high.
If you decide to keep this on the ‘QT’ (I will not be involved in any of this by the way), then I’m sure that the admins here will come to the correct decision, otherwise - good luck for you and your clan for the future!

Na tbh i wouldnt , wasnt my idea for the lad too post where he did , my answer was a honest one from MY point of view which is why i asked for a meeting away from the forums to discuss with the people involved to a satisfactory conclustion for all .
Future mergers if any , will be discussd by all the relevant admins and not 1 person .
Also if this or any other post "gets out of hand" then it will be dealt with / moved approprately.
Seems like hes given up at the first hurdle anyhu so this is irrelevant.

tis a shame, i personally thought he presented his initial info perfectly fine. The fact that braes is an older chap like us is also a plus point. Please lets not discourage this kind of thing in future lads. He followed the instructions to the letter... would have been good to get a bit of fresh blood and a new game in.

If he was discouraged, i don't believe it was by any of us - only his perceptions of what was said.
Wombles point was that he would prefer a meeting to discuss it further.
My point was that it should be a private matter not a public one.
It seems that DarkBraes made his mind up not to merge after 3 measly reply posts on a public forum. Not much in the way of perseverance in my opinion when what is needed is a bit of effort and dedication on HIS side not just ours.
As you say - tis a shame.

Hi,
Sorry I have been away for awhile been working away.
I appreciate all comments made so far and the way I have been perceived by not giving any feedback.
Due to further developments in our clan we have went down a completely different road.
I have taken on a proffessional team of cod4 players that I manage, and the existing players just play pcw's and cb ladder matches.
We have rebranded due to the wishes of the pro players and have received a few sponsors already.
But with that said I would still like to be involved in some way with your community as its a breath of fresh air tbh.
So if you dont mind I will visit every so often.
