go to settings and activate the noise when u press the key
and it does connect to the last server you joined, just open mumble and enter the info, if you do it manually it saves it, dont press the link on website

Hello I have a problem with mumble. Usually I have my headset connected to my laptop and all sounds come through them (the speakers suck I either listen through headset or then I don't listen at all). But whenever I turn on mumble, it does so that all mumble sounds and voice etc come through the headset, but it makes the rest of all computer sounds ignore my headset and come through the speakers. This is of course very annoying, imagine I try to play and then I hear a very loud *DING* every time I get a steam message. And actually I think the game sounds would come through the speakers too.
I tried solving this with my uber l33t hax0r skills, which ended up with that I somehow disabled all sounds from the computer completely, and I found no way to turn them back on (luckily a system restore to 1 hour earlier worked). SO if someone knows a magic button in mumble that will solve this that info would be much appreciated. I strictly refuse to touch any of the pc's sound settings again however >.<

Wow now it works. I changed the input/output devices.
The strange thing is, I had these the very first times I used mumble... Then I changed them to "default". Now I tried changing back and it works. I'm speechless. But it seems to work that is what matters :)
