Got our laptop back today (turned out to be a faulty power lead) and having problems connecting to our wireless network , it finds around 12 other peoples networks but not ours... our PC finds itt and her mums laptop finds it ok but not hers for some reason, need this sorting sharpish as she has a lot of sats marking to do and needs to email stuff to her team leader , thnx guys

Temporary solution is to directly plug her into ur router with a cable.
If my laptop can't our network, what usually does the trick is to turn of the modem and the router for several minutes. When they get turned back on, my laptop usually finds the network. Dunno if that helps

just a random guess here but it could be that your network uses the same frequency as another network.

All very good suggestions above and can't add to them really.
1) Use a network cable.
2) Restart the wireless router
3) Use a different broadcast frequency (channel).

She changed channel on router and did not tell me then forgot she had done it
