Interested in a WOW LAN event?
Recently Play-Time Online in Northampton, Northamptonshire hosted a 20 man guild event in their premises in which a UK Guild with players coming from England, Germany, Holland and even as far as America got together to raid, drink and generally get to know each other in RL.
It went down really well and will be a very memorable experience for this guild, so after the success Play-Time is looking for other guilds interested in the same great experience. What PlayTime is trying to promote is WOW on a LAN Level, It’s amazing to watch 20 Players all raiding on a massive projector whilst your all shouting instructions on what needs to be done etc!
From my own experience from the weekend it was amazing, I’m not a WOW player but I will be soon, after watching a group of guys and gal’s who have played together for over a year meet and chat in real life was an amazing sight, and we got a great sense of achievement from bringing this experience for all these gamers together.
We charged £30 per head (with PC) or £50 (without PC) for the weekend (they were here from Friday 6pm to Sunday 6pm), food was on sale, snacks and drinks ( We even had bacon sandwiches at 8am!). Most crashed in the floor next door for 2 nights (though some preferred to book a hotel!)
