bummer lol... what kind of hardware u using?
We use mostly HP (DL380 G3/4s and DL580 G2/3s) however as of this week we are gonna be building loads of IBM blades. They are dual AMD Opteron 2.8/3.0s with 4GB ram, and the cases are about an inch thick! You get 14 machines in a single 7u chassis, sitting vertically. VERY COOL!

can you get me one? I think I need about that spec to run company of hero's properly.
Anyone know of any software that can check if the ram on your graphics card is f**ked? Also, to check if my raid hdd's are screwy? Still trying to track down why my pc crashes in game sometimes. Looks like an invalid reading of data causing stuff to crash, sometime bsod, sometimes textures are missing. I just reinstalled windows (now using 64 which is fast as f**k!!), took out the raid stripe...one of the hardisks was convinced it was 160 Gig, when it's really a 80 gig so I thought that might be the problem, but not tested it out yet.

invalid data sounds like a ram issue

yeah I checked that all the fans were spinning, I have more than enough power, ran memtest for over an hour and a half to test main ram...I'm fairly sure it's either the hdd's or the gfx card. Now there is no raid, the hdd's will be easy to test, and if that doesnt fix it, then it's gotta be the gfx card.
It seems to happen when it's pageing stuff to the ram from the hdd, for example it happens in company of heroes when i click on the map and it has to scroll far to the other side of the map, probably having to load stuff out from the hdd's, or possibly somewhere in the gfx ram. When it gets really bad it crashes...looks like it could be a load of texture cache misses...it happens in hl2 also, things lock up and sometimes textures are replaced with weirdness or completely the wrong textures.
I am thinking of upgrading to pci-e soon, but a little short of cash :(
