when im playing the zombie maps on source, a lot of the textures look purple or pinky colours. its usually like a grid alternating purple squares. it looks like my old housemates 9800pro did on some warcraft textures which he said was cos he'd unlocked the extra pipes.

so basically has anyone had this, and any ideas for it?
im yet to try different drivers problem is they are big in size and i have this sh*tty 2gb cap at the moment so cant download lots.

the card is this 9550pro i got off ebay a while back. ive only seen this on CS source.

sometimes it helps to reconnect, i get it a few times but not very often at all, just reconnect and see what happens

It's the reflection map that the game is applying to the texture.

Basically it has not been able to create the reflection so it;s showing the "error / texture not found" texture.

This can be down to Alt-tab'ing, old drivers F'ed GFX cards, messed up textures or messed up map.

well you don't work with mapping (and trying to make your own mod) with out picking a few bits up.

ah right. im at home this weekend so will get a load of different drivers and try them when i get back.

to be honest i get as low as 5fps running around on the zombie maps so its pretty much un playable for me as it is.
