Portals have been around for awhile (I beleve the group that are making portal made a very similar game awhile ago).

but yeah is very close to what pray is doing.

It does look very good!

it looks good, but i am not 100% convinced by it, what would the graphics requirements be on it? pretty big i would imagine, also would it be nerfed like the gravity gun in hl2, where it got the upgrade and was way overpowered

i think they are just showing off a bit, like look what we can do, and as for the whole gravity thing in prey, seems again like doing it for no god reason

yeah, it looks more of a prototype, but I think it has some nice level design in it.

I love it in that vid where the two sentry guns are dropping in and out of 2 portals next to each other, shooting each time they pop up. well jokes.

Also guys Portal is a standalone game, it's not being built into HL2:Ep2, it will be release with HL2:ep2.

Yeah, they are re relasing hl 2 to the next gen consols (360 and ps3) which they will include hl 2, episode 1 + episode 2 and portal and tf2

hey sorry for being late on this... man portal looks awsome i seen it a while back think some one mighta put a link to on here few months back... mighta been another forum... anyways as a designer its like a dream... sorta like infinite possibilites... continually falling thro floors... finding loads of diff ways to dispatch enemies...

all i can say i wow... ok that my designer side talkin...

my gamin side a bit more sceptical like u guys... im sure multiplyer if it has one wud be awsome.. specially if it got to cs levels where people no glitches and mad wee tricks.. reckon it cud be quite fun..

as for one player i reckon it will get a bit tedious towards the end as end of day enemy ai still aint as gd as real life oppenents...

and yes its gonna eat ur gfx power.. so im fuct untill i build my pc


anyways to be short... yes tf2 is class.... memories of 2 fort while being a sniper..rocket jumps...etc... they where the days...hopefully the gameplay lives up to the original and it dont go to realistic the way cs source went...

its a nice intro to tf2, anyone seen gameplay? i liked tfc, expect it always seemed demanding on the graphics even on a decent pc

yeah i seen a quick snipet of in game footage... kinda reminded me of like the multiplayer on timesplitters 2 or x111 for some weird reason..
