We sorted with the printer, thank you all for your feedback, you have been very very helpfull, so much advice, opinions, i just didn't know what to get.
Anyhow, we sorted with a canon 1500 something. But the thing is we need to share one printer between two computers, can't use LAN connections, cause that will mean sharing internet connection, and we don't want any sort of internet con to the main cpu.
I was thinking of USB seperators of some kind, but can't find anything on ebay. Any suggestions. PLEASE!

if it allows a parallel printer port then use something like this:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=13346&criteria=parallel%20switch&doy=23m4
or if its usb only then maybe something like this:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=36486&criteria=usb%20switch&doy=23m4
Why not network them tho?

Its a usb printer, and don't want networking because we want to keep the main cpu (which has access to the tills, prices etc) secure, therefore no internet connection.
THanks alot for your suggestion. But what do you think of this

sorry still dnt knw how to make links, u can tell me though.
But for that would i have to buy usb to usb cables for each cpu??

looks fine - regarding cables, you would need 3 in total, 1 from each pc into that device and 1 out from the device and into the printer yes.
