Hey guys,

Being the lot of Counterstrike layabouts and experts that you are, perhaps you can answer a question: What sort of bandwidth / download usage does CS have? I ask because I've been playing a bit of CS in the office (after hours, obviously), while my boss is skiing in France, and it occured to me that we have a monthly threshold of around 5gb. I've only played for around 5-6 hours so far, but what sort of usage does CS exert over a given hour?

Any ideas?

youre a business and you have a threshold?!

It uses about 5kbps so probably about 100mb for what youve done so far (not including map downloads etc)

This is Bahrain.... everyone has a threshold unless they pay a completely ridiculous price for a fairly crap connection. Actually 5gb was a bit off. I think we have 15GB threshold, with 1mbps/256kbps settings. Although it regularly slows up and doesn't seem that fast in practice. We're investigating a Satellite connection, but I have my doubts about it. Anyone have any experience with satellite broadband?
