Orite, i have two problems which i hope you guys can solve for me.
1. Is there any way i can increase my upload speed. I won't actually mind having more upload speed then download. I.e. when you guys use webcams for the LAN wouldn't you increase your upload speed some how to get better quality.
2. My uncle's just got 2 meg tiscali broadband, and he is having problem with it. The thing is that after a while the internet disconnects itself, i have checked the basics like the filters but they all seem to be fine. You don't get a specific error message, it just disconnects without a warning and a reason. He had AOL before which used to work fine.
Hope you guy's can help.

1) - yea pay lots and lots of money.. your upload is limited to your speed of your ISP. you could get sdsl but 1mbit of that starts arround £lots
2) phone tiscalli they can easily run checks on the pc from their end.

Whilst you here i might as well ask one more thing. I just download mozilla to view the webcams better, but i cant seem to be able to view them at all. However web browsing is definately better and faster with mozilla on my uncle's comp.
Do you think i might need some kind of plugin

He had 512mb connections before, which was AOL.
It orite now, i think he will probably get a new comp cause his old one is pretty nakered now. So he might just ask the ppl he gets his new pc from.
I suggested him to get one built rather then buying from dell, especially because he has ralatives who own a comp shop so they will give him stuff at cost price. He is a ragular user, PC will be on 24/7 as he monitors his shop from the house. He got £700 budget (remember cost price equipment) so what do you think he should get.
Sorry, i know i ask alot of questions but you r the only ppl i knw who have good xperience in these sorta stuff.

PS: Unless its a throw-away-bog-standard-cheap-parts-non-upgradable-crappy family PC youre after - dont ever buy dell.
