Thinking about buying an MP3 CD/DVD player for the car in the next few months. Anyone know much about these or reccomend any good ones? My mate got a decent sony one for about £200 recently but i'd rather not pay that much if i can help it...

pop into halfords, i got a jvc one you can see it on friday, for £120ish reuced from £200, it was on a special offer, they always have a couple going on special, mine plays mp3's and all kinds of cdr cdrw's

Just so you know i wouldnt buy sony you end up having to pay 40 quid to get covertion cables to acctulay get it installed in your car

JVC or Kenwood all the way, or Grundig sattelite Stereos are nice

yeah pioneer have some nice systems, but wasnt a problem with there LCD's? i head people saying they were failing alot

im not keen on those sony ones with that panel which flicks up and down - prefer the ones where the disc goes in behind the whole front panel as you get a bigger better display.
