I know that its not reccomended and im not talking anything serious here just a few questions. Last night i decided to change my fsb from 133 to 145. My comp didnt like it. However the problem was it wudnt load past the bios and after about 10-15 seconds it would totaly crash in the setup. So im not sure if its even related or just a coincedince. But when i finnally did get in after lyk half an hour i went to set it to jumpers to put it back down to deafualt. The jumpers are set to 166Mhz and it was manually set to  133. Does this mean if i put it back to by jumpers it should run ok? I have no problems with cooling as my heatsink is a good one. Just wondering if thatl work ok and what other factors apart from over heating need to be took into consideration while doing this.

erm well first going straight to 145 from 133 is just so not the way to do it, you do small jumps, only a few Mhz at a time, and by small i mean 2Mhz at most. Boot your system, check its stable and then go up some more.

You also need a good motherboard to do it, if your using a cheap PCchips mobo your pretty uch wasting your time, but with my epox mobo, a good overclocking CPU and some flexible memory i managed to overclock my system to 150% but i did it slowly and was fortuniate with my kit (overclocking is alot about luck, no chip is the same). Just put everything back to defult and clear your CMOS - that should do it
