It seems, that many have problem with the caravan map on the cs server.  I had a problem too, about a file called Plant2T. It couldnt find, and it didnt dl it. if others have that problem, this might help:

There's a file called Plant2 in the models map, in caravan map.  I changed the name to Plant2T, and tried to play the map again.

It recognized the file (plant2T), but now it needed Plant2. It just dl the file (plant2), and i could play the map. (which btw is a very great map )

Hope it helps any1

i think it waas just a case of a bad dl on the particular model, and the solution always is delete the offending file and have it downloaded,

if you need the maps they are all available on the old blueyonder downloads, there is a link on the news page, they come zipped and extract themselves to the correct directory, i think the new caravan and thaetre maps were included.

added to the fact even on ADSL it takes over 15 mins to install the map - its a joke tbh! we wan people to stay and play on our server not clear off because of a 15min map dl

the solution to that has been found, you can set up an html link to say your internet host where you can copy the directory structure and files nessesary, then what you do is on the server point anyone wishing to download files to the html server (this is done automatically) and they download it form there, has the added benefit of not using your gameing bandwisth so all players on the server do not suffer, plus it is generally a faster download obviously depending on your web host.

most of the guys that play on our server would probably goto another server instead of jumping through hoops like that, i know i would if it was someone elses server. sure they may be good maps but having them in the map cycle isnt nesicarily the best option

nah this happens when you go get the loading part with steam, the client simply connects to the server and the content is downloaded form another sever that you specify, they dont even notice, except it significantly improves dl times for client and will reduce drain on server resources
