emm its not funny , and i dont think its much of their fault than the school system as a whole. coz tbh with ya ive met rly REALLY dump ppl here in scotland (no offence to whoevas scottish) and the reason for that its just the sucky school system (same in america.. even worse i can say). Ppl at the age of 33 cant do simple maths i mean very basic stuff and ive seen it with my own eyes otherwise i wudnt believe it. When i came here i was doin higher maths at school and believe it or not i was doin simple questions like 2/3-5/6 or w/e.... Stuff that ive done when i was 10 n when i wasnt even goin to secondary skool bk home. Ppl thought i was bein weird coz wheneva the teacher asked students for the answer of such simple questions, i was sittin there laughin, n they had no idea why. Same happend at few english lessons just coz the teacher made fool of every single person in the room just coz i was the only one who knew what part of the speech is the word "are" :D Ive neva been brainy even when i was bk home... but i deffo became more stupid than what i used to be b4... unfortunately, just coz i didnt have the chance to finish high skool bk home.. Oh well i can discuss this foreva like, ive spoken to many ppl (american,polish,german,dutch etc... ) and ive realised that i hated my skool bk home coz we had to do sooo much work... but it was worth it eventually. Lol u all might say "who the hell is she? comin to our country and then spittin at us..." But im just speakin the truth :) (even tho i didnt want it to be like that) but anyway u cud go on for hrs n hrs about this so im gonna stop here anyway feel free to hate me :P

i did maths early at school, November before we left in august so we could do statistics, it was alll too easy :) then i did a level maths at college and that was pretty hard :O but Americans are just generally naive

I think it's funny. Clearly there is somthing wrong with the school system, and the training system. I also agree with you that schooling in most European countries is so much better than it is in the UK...however, Scottish education is better than an English education and that's saying something!
I don't think I actually learned anything while I was living in London

so all the english are stupid? 
i was just in oen german lesson in england...and i knwo that some of them are studying german even if they really didnt seem to know much about it...very weird

aye they do.well lemme tell u somin rite, when i came here i remember a week after i had to go to the skool to meet the head teacher... and this is what she said to me "Now we r gonna put u in 5th yr and u have to do 5 subjects, no more.... heres a list of the subjects(they were in diff columns) and tell me which ones u wanna do" i was like "wtf" u dont get that bs bk home... choosin subjects n stuff u have to do all subjects, science,geo,music,maths etc... so tbh i no nothin bout history, biology or science just coz i didnt pick these subjects.... I feel damn stupid. Ok another qu... whats with learnin some language and lettin u use a dictionary when ur sittin ur exam? How can u possibly learn a language when they INSIST u use ur dictionary? I went to this spanish skool, had 4 periods a day spanish (like 5 days a week), had to pass 2 exams (one of em was writin, grammar, doin essays etc.. n the other one was havin a conversation about somin with this spanish guy), in the followin yr i started doin all the subjects again, not just spanish :) and i did biology n info sys in spanish. Now that is how u learn a language! hehe god i shud become a teacher n start torturin the students so theyd learn somin :D
